MIT - A MIRACLE

Ninth standard was a great turning point in my life. I was average in my studies. Was very much content with my B and C grades. Life went very well as my mother doesn't even know how my textbooks look nor my father. Early in the morning as my mother is in the kitchen, I will hurry my mother to put a signature in the report card. She with a comment usually re-reading the comments written by my class teacher.
God had different plans in my studies. So to fulfill that there came a bitter event in my life.(its truly very tough to change me) Just as in Samson's life when God planned to defeat the philistines he allowed some bitter event in his life.
It was Christmas holidays in 2001 December. As my Dad was in Mumbai, I and my mother went to spend our holidays with him. His manager came for tea one evening. Like every uncles not knowing any other topic to speak to me asked about my grades. I would have said "A" had not my mother stood there. Much to the awaiting disaster I replied "B". He asked back again , why not "A"?. That evening my Dad burst into anger because of my "B" grade and scolded very badly. Still that day he didn't know what grades I got and was least bothered. Like a typical tamilian family, that night ended up by me crying for one hour and my mother for the whole night. (Actually I was practicing those days to behave more like a guy and not to have a tear roll down from my eyes:-(( ). That night I decided to concentrate on my studies. Having been taught by God, I knew that I couldn't excel without Lord Almighty.
(My mom often uses this promise in her prayers "All thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children'. Isaiah 54:13.

I started studying by first reading the scriptures. As far as I can remember, I moved from 30th to 15th rank to 5th and 2nd rank that single year. God helped me score 94.5% in 10th all for His glory.
