LIVING GOD WHOM I SERVE

There is no doubt that Jesus is still LIVING. There are many facts which claim that He is risen. There are millions of Christians who believe it and I am one of them. You will be amazed why I bring this point, that He is living God. Recently I tasted Him as a Living God who cares. Alleluiah! Praise The Lord!!. As the Bible tells, it seems to be true that only who tastes Him can understand Him. Let me share with you what happened, for you to understand why I tell that “He is a Living God who cares”.

Last week, I was so depressed in my heart. I was pushed by Satan that all my dreams have been shattered. And my God has punished me because of my sins. There was no way for peace inside me. I was longing for a place to cry. I was just wondering how my day is going to be, as my morning has started in such a way. I was crying to God knowing that He alone can help. I was just waiting with depressed heart as to what He could do. Within a minute , I got a message from my friend. She has’nt sent me any messages previous to that day nor after that. The message was a bible verse “And in this place I(Lord Jesus) will give peace says the Lord of Hosts”  Hagai 2:9. I just read it and had my breakfast still with the thoughts that Satan put in my mind. And I read the whole verse from the Bible again.Great peace entered me. Peace beyond comparison and beyond expression. It was the peace from God. I was filled with laughter for the whole day because of my God given peace.

I was sharing this with my friend who sent this message to me. I was amazed to hear from her still more things. She had prayed to God before sending the message that God should speak through the verse to atleast one person. Again before clicking on send, she had felt that she had missed somebody. There she found my name and included in the list and clicked on send. How Great is Our God. How Great is My God’s concern for me! How Great is My God’s love for me! How Great is my God’s care for me!

SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS IN 2013

Praise the Lord. Only 3 months have passed this year. God has abundantly blessed me. God’s grace has been with me so much that His lovely hands have blessed me materialistically as well as spiritually.

Got a new bike

Its been my long desire to get a new bike. I didn’t pray for it. I was just keeping it in my heart. This January God himself led me and made me get a new bike. Glory be to God. He accompanied me to the showroom and helped me in purchasing it. Thanks be to God for making me get the best one and being with each time I drive it.

Contact Lenses

Changing my spectacles to contact lenses also had been my desire for years. I have been to the hospital for more than 5 times with the thought of changing to contact lenses. But something would hinder me that I will end up coming with my same old spectacles. Either the doctor themselves will keep telling the disadvantages of lenses or there would grow a fear in me towards it. God by His grace took away my fears and made me get a contact lenses this year and gave me the wisdom to handle it too.

Well, this also had been my long desire to get one. Immediately after switching to contact lenses, I wanted to get one. Glory be to God,  since I got a best one in a cheap rate. There was a offer of 25% discount in Fasttrack. God gave me truly a best one. Glory and Thanks be to God.

Awards and Appreciations

I received On The Spot Award. Well there were only 2 people constantly getting awards in my team. Rest all of us were ignored. By God’s eternal grace, I received Certificate as well as “On The Spot” award with 300 gems. Glory be to God because it is truly by His grace and nothing by me. My Mananger himself came to my desk to give the certificated.

Also I received appreciation from my Client Manager. Glory be to God alone. He made me get favor from the sight of everyone, for by Him inspite of my weakness and mistakes He has been working with me in a mysterious awesome way. Glory be to God alone.

Spiritual Blessing

Well it has been my long desire to distribute tracts. God put in this desire. But me being a very timid and shy and lazy person wasn’t doing anything to fulfill His desire. By God’s eternal grace and By Him alone, He made me distribute tracts in T-Nagar. Only 30 tracts , I and my friend Angel distributed. But I thank God for having made me do it. For making this timid creature to be for His Glory. Amen.

God has restoring to me the things that I have lost. I rarely go to fellowship meeting in my office. One day hearing to God’s voice went there. It seems we have just started to have block wise fellowship meetings. There are 6 blocks in my office and I belong to the 4^th block. Piyush(Fellowship guy/leader) was just telling , there are meetings in every block except the 4^th block. That day he asked me to start the fellowship. Glory be to God for having chosen this timid creature. He who has started it, I know will finish it for His glory.

Inner Peace

One early morning I was just thinking about the incident in which Shadrach Meshach and Abednego would be put in fire. God was with them and so they didn’t go under any difficulty of the fire. They didn’t feel the fire at all. They came out happily rejoicing God.  But when the heathen people went into the same furnace, it consumed them almost immediately. I didn’t see any vision nor any dream nor was reading the book of Daniel in my daily readings. It was clear that God was making me meditate on it that early hour and was speaking to me. He was telling that I would go through some difficult situation but it would never touch me as He would be with me. But when others go through the same situation, it would consume them. Glory be to the gracious and loving God who spoke to me and made me be prepared for it.

Within the next week, there was a water problem in my hostel. It started one Thursday. But I happened to get them on Thursday and Friday as the problem was minor. Since Friday evening the problem became more severe that there was not even a drop of water. I was too tired after coming from office on Friday. So I slept early and the water problem wasn’t a issue with me. The next day also there happened to come in one pipe in my floor some water. So I used that and took a fresh bath and went to church. When I arrived in the evening , everybody in my hostel were so tensed since there had been no drop of water since morning. They asked me to shout to the owner. Again I was too tired and weak that I slept earlier and woke up at 12 to see the water coming. Happily praising God I stored a bucket of water in my room and slept. The owner had arranged for a lorry of water and so the problem was fixed temporarily that day. Praising God washed all my clothes on Sunday and went to church happily praising God. The problem arose again on Thursday due to the lethargy of my warden/owner. On Wednesday night I was urged to collect a bucket of water. Glory be to God that I used that happily the next morning and God graciously helped me in the midst of the problems around me.

One Monday morning our fan stopped working. The room that I stayed is truly a dungeon and it would be hell without the fan. That too in summer season. The people in my hostel don’t used to bother about any of the problems in my hostel. They are all money minded. It took nearly a week for the fan to be changed. But God’s inner peace was in me abundantly that I was able to be in the midst of no fan. My room mate was too much troubled in her heart. We both got another room to sleep during nights where there was fan. Thanks be to God for it. For it is rare to find any room vacant in my hostel in Chennai. Glory be to God who alone was with me and gave me the strength to go through it.

Grace Of God on Mar 10,2011

                      I can never forget this day because of an incident that happened in my life 2 years back. My lips  cannot stop uttering the thanks for the great mercies of GOD. His mercy, love and grace are abundant. His love is greater than the mother’s love. They can never be put in words in any of the languages.  Thank You Jesus for your great mercy upon me.

                         Well my first one year in my IT world went well with appreciations. Although I was getting appreciations, my work didn’t succeed much. For the next 6 months things worsened, with failures in everything that I did.  I didn’t much care about the failures, and was with hope that from the next time , things will work out well. As I kept seeing failures, depression was getting inside my soul. Much to the great awaited disaster was , a small error which I committed brought our application down(which was in production in BSNL) for 3 hours. This brought a greater notice to all the clients and went upto the finance manager of BSNL who directly reports to the PM. It was a greater plot put by Satan to take me away from work. Later did I know, that my God allowed this because of my disobedience.  But still God’s mercy was on me, that He made me get mercy from the Manager’s eyes.  There was one more application in BSNL which was down the same day for some hours. So my mistake was not noticed much. There was a big earthquake in Japan on the next day. This brought consolation because I was still alive by His grace and was not consumed for my disobedience.. Moreover during my depression time, my managers were more encouraging to me.  I am thankful to God for this. Thank You Jesus for your mercy, though I don’t deserve it.  After understanding my fault and seeking His help, my God has been so gracious to me in helping me in my weakness of disobedience. Its been 2 years that have passed. Today though I commit many mistakes, God keeps blessing my work in such a abundant way. My mistakes are covered by His grace and turned to good. Thank You Jesus for being with me for the past 2 years and for the grace that was on me, especially during the time of Satan’s plot. Thank You for making the plot of Satan come to nothing and for protecting me. Thank You lovely God for blessing the work of my hands. May I be for Your Glory.  All I am , is by Your GRACE.
